How it's taught

Every module pairs content with a named, timed activity

Role-play, World Café, jigsaw, fishbowl, structured debate, kinesthetic simulation, gamified review, and more — no two modules repeat the same technique. This lets the course run as a live instructor-led bootcamp exactly as written, or be adapted by a solo learner working with a study partner or small peer group. One case study, Meridian Trust Financial Group — a super-regional bank modernizing its core banking platform, launching open-banking APIs, and integrating a newly acquired credit union — carries through all 19 sessions without resetting.

What you'll be able to do

  • Name and explain every ADM phase, TOGAF 10's six Fundamental Content volumes, and the framework's core vocabulary — cold, under exam time pressure.
  • Write a well-formed Architecture Principle, build a business capability map, and classify architecture artifacts as catalogs, matrices, or diagrams.
  • Read a complex, multi-constraint scenario and rank competing responses the way OGEA-102's gradient scoring actually rewards.
  • Tailor the ADM defensibly to a specific organizational context, including agile/iterative delivery, without abandoning governance.
  • Facilitate at least a dozen distinct ILT techniques well enough to run them yourself, live, for your own team or students.

Who it's for & prerequisites

  • Aspiring or practicing enterprise, solution, or business architects preparing to sit OGEA-101 and/or OGEA-102/103.
  • Trainers, consultants, and team leads who want a ready-to-run, non-lecture-heavy ILT curriculum to deliver to their own teams.
  • No prior TOGAF certification required — some exposure to IT, business analysis, or project delivery helps but isn't mandatory.
  • The Practitioner track (Sessions 14–18) assumes the Foundation track (Sessions 0–13) is completed first, exactly as OGEA-102 assumes OGEA-101-level knowledge.
Certification pathway

Exam facts, verified against current Open Group guidance

A bridge exam (OGEA-10B) also exists for candidates already TOGAF 9 Certified. This course targets learners starting fresh, or wanting the full depth of both parts regardless of prior certification.
